An inconspicuous, extendable table – simple and practical – has served its time. The desire arises to transform these messengers of the past, to create something stimulating, to break old patterns and let something new grow from them. Deconstruction and destruction does not mean necessarily to destroy and abolish the old. In the detailed analysis of the piece of furniture and its relation to my feelings I learn that my imprints are a part of me.
